Chateau Tourbeille is located at the heart of the Dordogne in the Aquitaine region of France.
Bordeaux airport is an hour's drive and Bergerac is less than 45 minutes by car. Rail links include
the TGV to both Bordeaux and Libourne making the Dordogne easily accessible.
Chateau Tourbeille is less than 30 minutes from the world heritage site of Saint Emillion and is surrounded by the rolling vineyards that the region is famous for. There are numerous vineyards within a fifteen minute drive that welcome guests for wine tastings and tours.
Within a 45 minute drive, outdoor activities include: canoeing down the Dordogne river, go-karting, fishing, golf, sailing and jet ski-ing, adventure parks including 250m zip wire and various children's play centres.
Our nearest village is Gensac offering bars, restaurants, a boulangerie, mini supermarket, doctor's surgery
and cash machine. Larger towns such as Sainte Foy La Grande is only 15 minutes by car.
